CarolineChicago
By day, I am a self-employed web and print designer, content developer (the new, hipper term for for copyrwriter) and marketing strategist. But by late afternoon, I turn into Mom-- of one teenage daughter, two pre-teen sons, two cats and a dog--and the wife of one patient man.
I am a passionate reader of all types of fiction, history and biography. Shelves and stacks of books are found throughout our house. I also have an oddly large cookbook collection, including several from the 1920s, '30s and '40s.
I have a B.A. in Philosophy from Northwestern University and an M.B.A from Loyola University Chicago, neither of which have made me an expert in anything--but really served to show me how much I didn't know.
I love being part of the HubPages community as it gives me a chance to write about topics in which I am personally interested. I also blog at coffeewithcaroline.wordpress.com.
My professional site is www.carolineandrewmarketing.com.
My professional blog (new, so please forgive its brevity) is:
www.chicagolawfirmmarketing.com.
Please Note: Unfortunately, Illinois' governor signed a tax law that resulted in amazon.com abandoning its Illinois affiliates, including yours truly, which was effective in early 2011. I do not back Gov. Quinn on this, but I also feel that amazon.com has wrongly abandoned its Illinois affiliates and in other states that have instituted similar sales tax laws. I implore HubPages to investigate affiliate partnerships with merchandisers other than amazon.com.
